• dr Agnieszka Żur, Assistant Professor

    Dr Agnieszka Żur is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She holds a PhD in Economics in the field of management sciences. For many years, she was the Director of the Executive MBA Programme at the Cracow School of Business, Krakow University of Economics.

    She is the author of numerous scientific publications in the fields of entrepreneurship, communication, and academic teaching. Her research focuses on social entrepreneurship, including the study of social enterprises, their business models, and the integration of social and economic goals.

    She is a recipient of numerous Rector’s Awards of the Cracow University of Economics for individual achievements in research, teaching, and organizational activities. She is also a co-author of an award-winning MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation in established companies, which attracted over 3,500 participants from around the world in 2018:

    She has delivered guest lectures at, among others: Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, USA), Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, USA), Durham University, the University of Luton, Plymouth University, and University College London (United Kingdom), Södertörn University (Stockholm, Sweden), and National Chengchi University (Taiwan).

    A passionate advocate of education and an experienced academic educator, she is particularly interested in progressive education and active learning methods. She believes in the transformative power of education and lifelong learning across multiple areas of life. She is a certified trainer and academic tutor, and is happy to conduct tutorials in English as well.

    She is a mother of three and values openness, curiosity about the world, inquisitiveness, and diligence.
