The end of the academic year is a time when the employees of the Department of Microeconomics improve their skills through various scientific events.
From May 18, 2025, to May 30, 2025, Dr. Katarzyna Kłosowicz-Toborek participated in a short-term research trip as part of a PROM 2.0 scholarship. During her stay at the University of Turin in Italy, she collected materials that will be used to prepare a book. She also presented the results of her research at a seminar organized for the University of Turin staff. Additionally, during her stay, she had the opportunity to participate in the 28th ESHET Conference, an international conference titled “It’s the End of Economics (As We Know It),” where she presented her paper, “From Keynes to ‘Green Interventionism’ – Managing Uncertainty Through State Action.”

Additionally, from June 27 to June 29, 2025, Dr. Katarzyna Kłosowicz-Toborek took part in the Poznań Post-Keynesian Workshop. This event provided an opportunity to connect with people from various countries who are influenced by heterodox economics schools. During the workshop, Dr. Katarzyna Kłosowicz-Toborek attended lectures by distinguished heterodox economists (Louis-Philippe Rochon, Guillaume Vallet, Jalal Qanas جلال قناص, Domenica Tropeano), who covered a broad range of topics within Post-Keynesian trends. Discussions centered on issues such as gender, power, money, and monetary policy. The event was organized by the Poznań Post-Keynesian Economics Foundation, Edward Lipiński, Heterodox Publishing House, and the Monetary Policy Institute.
