Dr. Krzysztof Adam Firlej’s visit to Vilniaus Kolegija in Vilnius

From May 12 to May 21, 2025, Dr. Krzysztof Adam Firlej, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microeconomics at Krakow University of Economics, took part in a short-term academic exchange at Vilniaus Kolegija in Vilnius, Lithuania, as part of the PROM 2.0 scholarship program.

During his visit, he engaged actively in seminars and meetings with university academic staff. Key topics covered included modern teaching methods in vocational universities, student internship support systems, and organizing the educational process around practical skills.

The visit facilitated productive discussions with academics from diverse research fields and helped forge new academic connections. These relationships could lead to future collaborations in research and teaching, such as international projects, student exchanges, and co-authoring scientific papers.

An added benefit of the trip was the expansion of intercultural perspectives and the enhancement of understanding of higher education realities in the Baltic region. The knowledge and experience gained during the study visit form valuable intellectual capital that will be effectively applied in future teaching and projects.
