The 8th International Conference “Workshop on Macroeconomic Research” will take place on 24–25 June 2025 at the campus of the Krakow University of Economics (Rakowicka 27, 31-510 Kraków, Poland). The event is organized by the Department of Macroeconomics at the Krakow University of Economics.
Department of Macroeconomics at the Krakow University of Economics is organizing the 8th Workshop on Macroeconomic Research. The aim of the workshop is to bring together academic researchers to promote and exchange ideas in the field of empirical macroeconomics.
We encourage submissions from academic researchers working on macroeconomic phenomena and employing econometric techniques. Young economists are especially encouraged to present their work to an experienced audience.
Keynote speaker
We are pleased to announce that Professor Andrew Harvey from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge will be the keynote speaker at the conference.
Submission
An extended abstract (about 300 words) should be submitted electronically. Presenters may have a discussant assigned to their paper if a full working paper is provided.
