She worked at the Department of Macroeconomics as an assistant professor from 1.07.1973 – 28.02.2018
In her research and teaching, she focused on issues in contemporary economic thought. As a recognized educator, she introduced generations of students to the intricacies of micro- and macroeconomics, welfare economics, and the mechanisms of the common market. Her research interests centered on the economic role of the modern state, which resulted in the publication of dozens of scholarly articles and numerous teaching aids.
For two terms, she served as a member of the Faculty Council of the Department of Economics and International Relations. A particular focus of her work was raising teaching standards—as chair of the Association of Assistant Professors and Senior Lecturers, she initiated university-wide teaching workshops.
