Registration for general academic elective courses in the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year, master, full-time and part-time modes of study (International Business master degree programme)

Dear Students,

We would like to inform you that registration for university-wide elective courses offered in the first semester of master studies.

Registration for full-time students will take place on 2 October 2026, while registration for part-time students will take place from 12 to 14 October 2026.

Registration applies to students enrolled in the International Business master degree programme.

Rules for registration for elective courses

A. Registration for elective courses is conducted via USOSweb.

B. The Directors of the Institutes of Economics, Finance, Management, and Political Science, Sociology and Philosophy decide whether to offer a university-wide elective course common to all degree programmes based on the list of registered students.

C. Whether a course in a given group will be offered depends on the total number of selections it receives, taking students’ preferences into account. The decision is based on the preferences of students enrolled in the following degree programmes: International Business, Financial Analytics, Global Banking, Risk and Financial Management, Global Finance and Accounting, Modern Business Management, Global Human Resource Management, Economic Diplomacy and Statecraft, and International Studies.

D. A course may be offered provided that the minimum number of students specified in a separate Rector’s Order register for it (Order No. R.0211.33.2026 of the Rector of the Krakow University of Economics of 25 June 2026). If a course is not offered due to an insufficient number of selections, students who registered for it will be assigned to another course that is offered, by decision of the Director of the Institute.

E. A student who fails to select an elective course within the specified registration period will be assigned to a course designated by the Director of the Institute.

In the first semester, students select a total of three courses, one from each group.
